Clara Baio and Antonija Atanasova share a love of tradition and craft.

Born and raised in Sicily, Clara brings the traditions and flavors of her Italian roots to the U.S. A self-taught baker, she built her craft through obsession, dedication, and years of hands-on practice, blending the simplicity of Sicilian baking with her own modern approach.

In Macedonia, where Antonija was born and raised, she discovered a world of coffee upon coming to the U.S. Entirely self-taught, she developed her own approach to coffee, hospitality, and the experience that surrounds every cup.

Together they've created Baker and Barista, a place where Italian baking meets artisanal coffee with each loaf and cup stating something about where they came from.
